The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is organizing the first ever ocean literacy professional development course for the private sector in Venice, Italy. The course will include an expert panel with representatives of media, of finance, of science and of NGOs. It will present some good practices of businesses that have transformed their activities towards ocean sustainability and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
