Achieving the SDGs by 2030 requires collaboration and interdisciplinary action from all sectors (public, private, academic, international organizations, and civil society). To advance progress in the Caribbean region, the SDSN Caribbean has posted a call for solutions from regional stakeholders. Solutions are practical projects involving novel technologies, research protocols, business models, institutional mechanisms, education models, or political instruments, or a combination of these, that have a transformative impact on sustainable development of the Caribbean region. The solution must address a specific problem, as well as be demonstrable and scalable. By identifying promising projects in the region and disseminating their results, we hope to accelerate progress on SDG implementation.
Selected solutions will be presented in an online forum in the summer of 2019 and in a Caribbean Solutions Report. In addition, the best solution will be invited to present their project at the Global Solutions Forum taking place during the International Conference for Sustainable Development (ICSD) in New York, USA, on September 25, 2019.
You can submit your best solution until June 15, 2019, by filling out this form.
