The Forum focused on the theme, ‘Translating Targets into Actions’. The ESCAP Executive Secretary said achieving SDG 7 will “require a radical transition in many areas,” including how the world sources and consumes energy. A joint project between ESCAP and Energy Foundation China will develop a national Expert SDG Tool for Energy Planning to help developing countries plan for SDG 7 implementation.
